Useful information

Entry requirements
The visa is issued by the Brazilian consulates abroad.
Citizens from Mercosur countries do not require a visa to enter Brazil, only a valid passport or other identity document.

Other requirements
1. All tourists must complete their own Visa Application Form, even underage persons.
2. Payment of entry tax varies depending upon the type of visa and the duration of the stay.
3. Passports must have at least six months validity remaining at the time of visa application.
4. Recent photograph, 3x4 or 5x7 with white background.
5. Children under 18 travelling alone must present written authorization signed by both parents.

Countries that do not require visa for a stay up to 90 days:
Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Great-Britain/UK, Greece, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Macao, Malaysia, Monaco, Morocco, Namibia, New Zealand, Norway, the Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Philippines, Poland, Portugal, S.M. Order of Malta, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Surinam, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Vatican.

Countries with mandatory entry visa:
